Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, Kennel Attendants and Receptionists coordinate closely with the doctors and our clients to provide our patients with the highest quality of health care.
Lynn Craun, LVT, is a James Madison University graduate with a degree in Health & PE, with a minor degree in Education; she also holds a degree from Blue Ridge Community College. Lynn knows almost all of our clients and patients as she's been employed with HAH since 1988. Lynn is a native of Harrisonburg, and resides in Linville, with her 3 dogs and 13 cats! In her spare time, Lynn referees for women's college field hockey, lacrosse and basketball.
Tonya Whetzel, LVT, graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 2016. Initially, Tonya joined our HAH staff in 2007 as a Vet Assistant. In addition to assisting the doctors with patient care, Tonya works with our inventory management. Tonya lives in Dayton, with her 2 dogs and 2 cats. When she isn't working, Tonya enjoys hiking and horseback riding.
Katie joined the hospital staff in 2011. Katie lives in Fulks Run on her family's poultry and beef farm. Katie lives with her 4 dogs, 3 cats and 4 horses. She enjoys working on the farm with her dad in her free time.
Morgan joined the staff in February 2017. Morgan lives in Singers Glen with her 3 cats. In her leisure time, Morgan enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and traveling with family and friends.
Delaney joined our team in 2017. She is excited to assist clients in the care of their pets!
Leslie Hylton has worked at the hospital since 2000. In addition to all her front office duties, Leslie is the buyer of our Hill's Prescription Pet Food line. Leslie resides in Weyers Cave, where she lives with her husband, 5 cats and dog. On her day off, Leslie enjoys time with her granddaughter; her other hobbies include all types of gardening and spending time with her family.
Jessica Pettinato resides in Dayton. She enjoys 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing, and flower gardening. Jessica joined our hospital team in 2015.
Dave joined HAH in June 2017. He transitioned from his position as a counselor at Harrisonburg High School. Dave lives in Singers Glen with Dr. Ward and their 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, fish, and flock of chickens and ducks. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and working outside. He is excited to work with Dr. Ward and the staff to help your pets get the care that they deserve!
